Go to a carwash, and use one of their vacuums.
I had the same problem on my Avalon xls. I had to pry the rivets off on the bottom of my rear driver door and that allowed me to drain the door which was holding a considerable amount of rain water. I let it drain and installed new rivets and did not see a problem occur again. Weird I guess but I am glad to see I am not the only one....
My mechanic drilled a small diameter hole at the bottom of the door so the water would always be able to drain out. No problems since he did that.
Just press the AC swith off and on - it shoud blowing cold air again. Do not know how or why, it works.
You are probably missing the water shield (strip of rubber) that fits on the top where the door closes or the shield around the door.
heavy rains in this climate zone can remove, or leach, nutrients from the topsoil.
isn't the Toyota tacoma the truck that should have been turned into Toyota for a check? this happened to my husband, and there was a recall on the trucks so we returned the truck about 5 years after having it for a check for 12 grand. so we bought a Nissan SUV with the money. i don't know if this helps but this is what i thought.
