Hi - I did this once myself several years ago, in order to replace a faulty (permanently locked-up) thermo-fluid coupling (attached to the rear of the fan).
Firstly, you will need to remove all the belts - one by one. This can be done from the upper side (bonnet) of the engine (all at the front).
Once you have these off, you should be able to fit a spanner / socket down behind the fan, where the coupling attaches to the bearing block - this is very fidly, but is possible to do without having to remove anything else. From memory, there are 3-4 bolts holding the fan assembly to the bearing shaft-coupling.
Once you have these off the fan and thermo-coupling are still attached together, but they are loose from the engine, and with some movement and shuffling can be got out through the gap from the upper side of the engine.
The yellow fan can be disassembled from the thermo-fluid coupling if required.
Refitting is the reverse of all the above.
remove the old belt and remove your trouser's belt off and put into the fan
the only thing that I have found to be successful was to just move the belt around the fan.
Remove the serpentine belt, break free the fan (borrow a Clutch Fan Removal Kit from Autozone or Advance Auto Parts), remove fan shroud, remove fan entirely, disconnect hoses from pump, unbolt.
Remove the fan shroud remove the radiator remove the fan there is a fan in front of the radiator fan, loosen the sway bar on that and lower it a little so you can remove that belt loosen the alternator sway bar belt should be loose... replace belt reverse to put everything back you will need a ratchet and 10mm socket keep track of your bolts. Good luck!
2001 JAGUAR S TYPE 3.0 COOLING FAN KEEP RUNNING
Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses and transmission lines from the radiator. Remove the fan shroud and the upper and lower bolts. Raise the radiator up and out.
Remove the fan itself then remove the clutch from the fan
Drain the radiator. Remove the water pump belt and fan, remove the fan shroud if necessary. Unbolt the pump. Using new gaskets install the new pump. Reinstall the belt and fan then fill the radiator up with new fluid.
The wench will be used to remove the clutch fan nut. Remove the nuts holding the fan then remove the fan blade.

remove the fan clutch and fan first
