If the paint is still wet, try blotting it up with a damp cloth - be carefull not to rub it in, and don't oversaturate the carpet with water. If it still won't come out try a little bit of dish detergent. If the stain has dried, you can try using a hand held steamer to soften the paint, and then picking the paint out with a pin or utility knife.
