Replace it as a whole unit from the dealers (£20-30 I think), there's just four bolts and the release cable to undo. But if your bonnet is stuck down...(I did this yesterday evening), you will need to remove (if your car has one-not all do) the splash plate/guard underneath the engine-8 to 10 screws. Then you'll need to lie on your back looking up behind the radiator and reach up with a long handled screwdriver and flick the black platic knob/catch to the left-hey presto! On my car the bonnet catch looks ok it's just the release cable that's getting stuck and needs replacing. Hope this helps.
