what's wrong with it? I had to reengineer mine, by modifying the location of the aft pivot point... It helped a bunch but still not perfect
there are 3 rivets, they have to be drilled out then there are special rivets you have to put back in.
yes
Take a rag and gently work it in behind the crank and move it from side to side while pulling up on it. This should release the catch spring and from there you can insert a small screwdriver and pull it out.
opposite the knob there is a horseshoe shaped steel wire spring that 'clips' the window crank onto the shaft... with a thin screwdriver or awl, you can push this clip off from the know side.
The crank bolt is right thread on a 96 geo metro. bob.
I don't know if the 1990 metro is the same as a 1996 metro, but there should be two screws under covered holes in the interior door handle. you should remove the caps by gently prying them off, and then you can undo the screws underneath. Also, the window crank needs to be removed.... see the earlier question about how to do this, because believe me, 3 door handles later...I finally got it....and then you should just be able to sorta kinda pry it off gently...... and once you've done that, you lift vertically to remove it from the window... hope this helps!
Most are held on with a c shaped clip. Push in on the door panel & look under the base. Pushing on the ends simultaneously will cause it to go flying.
LOL, some dont have crank sensors my friend! if you dont have a crank sensor by your oil pan then you have a bad distributor sensor!
idk. Go to a train station and ask a metro driver how much they make per year.
