Go to a vendor (when you put your mouse over make sure there is an ANVIL icon) right click the person then click the anvil. If you cant find one click on the hand lens and it will show anvils on your mini map.
Alright, go to a WoW Icon on you're Desktop, right click it, then go to open source, go to you're WoW Directory, then double click Repair, that is all I know of it.
Find an armor vendor and press the repair button in the transaction window.
You either have to delete it, and re-download it through the WoW Launcher. or run the World of Warcraft Repair Tool.
Click start>Programs>World Of Warcraft>Repair Run the repair. If the repair tool won't fix it, try reinstalling the game and making sure you match the system requirements.

Patches are downloaded to the main wow directory. After they are downloaded, they are applied. Once they are applied, they can be deleted if you want, but not deleting them makes it easier to repair/re-install should the need arise.
