One on each side, on the exhaust manifolds, you can reach them from the top. Should be a single wire if its the base model. An O2 sensor socket, pb blaster, extensions, universal will be required to do this.
the exhaust, where every o2 sensor is
o2 sensor
your bank 2 sensor is the o2 sensor on your passenger side exhaust manifold
where is the o2 sensor located on a 1992 Chevy s-10 4.3 ?
To change an O2 sensor you need to disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor. Use an O2 sensor socket and ratchet set to remove the old sensor and replace with the new one.
An O2 sensor unscrews just like a spark plug.
Remove the vacuum hose from the O2 sensor. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the O2 sensor retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new O2 sensor.
You cannot repair an O2 sensor. Replace it.
Ain't no fixing an O2 sensor. If there is a problem with it, replace it with a new one.
With an o2 sensor socket.
Hey, I got a 91' firebird 305 tbi that had the same exact problem...it's your speed sensor or O2 sensor....(or both)
