i had two codes which were neutral safety switch an tcm i heard the switch is the problem so replace it started it up lites went off for 10 min then came on again but the jeep runs fine it a 97 jeep country 4x4 4.0 i dont want to replace tcm there a lot of cash i dont have what should i do an thanks
I would recommend going to your local mechanic for this. Replacing a TCM requires a lot of knowledge. It would be best for your safety and other's to go to a professional.

remove it clean pins and replace them if needed turn car in on position wait 5 min reinstall.
