Drain the coolant, remove belt, remove two bolts & water pump. Clean the sealing surfaces. Reinstall in reverse order
It is on the pass side front of the engine.

A 1998 Ram with the Cummins diesel has a water in fuel indicator on the dash that will illuminate if there is water in the fuel filter housing.
That is the fuel filter on the driver side of the engine block.

Right front of engine block (next to the fan pully) It is the smooth round pulley that is about 3 inches across.
Its a pain in the butt. have a shop do it ! $400-$700
2 hours to 7 hours, depends on the engine size.
It is driven by the timing belt. You have to dissassmble the right side of the engine to change it.
