I can't provide images, but I can describe the serpentine belt routing for a 1995 Dodge 5.9L Cummins engine. The belt typically runs from the crankshaft pulley, looping around the alternator, power steering pump, water pump, and tensioner, before returning to the crankshaft. For precise routing, it's best to consult a repair manual or a diagram specific to that engine model.
Right front of engine block (next to the fan pully) It is the smooth round pulley that is about 3 inches across.
Its a pain in the butt. have a shop do it ! $400-$700
2 hours to 7 hours, depends on the engine size.
Water in the fuel of a 5.9 Cummins engine can lead to serious problems, including injector damage, poor combustion, and engine stalling. It can cause corrosion in the fuel system and promote the growth of bacteria and algae. Regularly checking and maintaining the fuel system, using quality fuel, and installing a water separator can help prevent these issues. If water contamination is suspected, it's essential to drain the fuel system and replace the fuel to avoid engine damage.
