Remove the rear interior light (2 screws)then remove the rear upper trim piece. Remove the screws that hold the spoiler to the car(takes a deep socket)unplug the light and remove the spoiler it pops off not easy to do----here is the bad part the light is attached to the spoiler by two nuts one on each side and the screws they are attached to are plastic-- and they are attached with thread locker..I broke both upon removal---I managed to re-attach the new light attach the new light by wedging a mechanics rag behind it for a tight fit. re assembled and it worked perfectly. Would I do it again---No---I would take it to the dealer it was not worth the hassle
