I have a 2006 lincoln ls sport in which the 3rd brake light cover isn't connected properly. When I drive I can see out of my mirror that it's moving. Is there a way to keep it from moving?
For the 2002-2006 Altima it's about a 6 hour job. That is about $375 in labor and $278 parts from dealer if you have a shop do it.
# Remove the trunklid latch trim cover # Remove the electrical connector # Push in on the tabs and push light out of trunk
2 nuts in the trunk, unscrew those, then the light housing will pop off pry the plastic off and replace bulb.
You need to replace the brake pad sensors (there's only 2 - one for the front and one for the rear) and the light will reset itself.
