It is behind the Crank Pulley (harmonic balancer). You will need a special puller, and a 1/2 in impact wrench. You must remove the RF wheel, and inside fender cover to access.
The crankshaft sensor is by the crankshaft pullie (the balancer)
The crankshaft position is on top of the transmission bell housing on the drivers side. The sensor can be replaced by unbolting and unhooking the plug.
The 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse crankshaft position sensor is located on the back of the engine. The crankshaft position sensor will be near the bottom of the engine cover.
Chevy did not use a crankshaft sensor in 1995.If it won't fire then I would check the ignition module in the distributor and more then likey replace it. Also check the ignition coil and WIRE / coil wire.
the 1995 and before 3.0L's only have the sensor in the distributor. No crank sensor.
