retire fuel cap, localize fuel pump relay on engine compartment, turn on engine, retire the fuel pump relay & wait for engine dyes, (this is for depressurize the fuel system), take off old filter using some rags for catch residual fuel. Checking old filter will notice you about your fuel pump condition
