First, remove the engine air intake tube from the engine,(clamp on the tube on the engine throttle body). Remove the clamp on the other end of the tube going to the airbox. Remove the intake tube. Center, top of transmission will be a sensor with 2 wires,(plug). Depress sides of plug and remove. A 22mm socket with an extension will remove the sensor/clear the female plug portion of the switch if it is a DEEP WELL SOCKET ONLY!
Reinstall to factory torque specs. Use care if not using a torque wrench as the transmission housing is aluminum and could crack if sensor is over tightened .
Re- install intake tube ensuring no leaks.
Test. Go get your sticker-smirk-.
It is located on the gear shift handle.
Drop the steering wheel, at the back of the ignition there are wires with a screw in the middle edge. Remove the screw, unplug the connector and it comes right out.
The fuel pumpis located in the fuel tank.
just twist the the end piece of the front wiper lever. left hand side on the European model
Replace the bulb first, if this does not work try the reverse switch.
On the left side of the trans.
Remove the dash bezel, remove the switch, reverse process with new switch.
The problem is the reverse light switch. It is located on the top of the transmission that should sloved your problem.
Could be a number of things: -Dead battery -Blown Main Fuse -Bad starter relay -Bad starter -bad ignition switch
Sounds like the reverse switch is either damaged, or wired backwards... Did you have your clutch done recently?
Remove the heater control switch decorative cover. Remove the retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new switch.
pry out the control switch and disconnect the electrical connectors.install is reverse.
