If it's the "front seal", meaning the seal on the input shaft, you'll have to separate the engine and trans. Pull one or both to get to the seal.
on an automatic trans through dipstick tube
You check it and add fluid at the same place. Look on the transmission for a dipstick.
Yes it is possible with a bellhousing adaptor plate..... but in short no......Buy the right tranny......or a flux capacitor......
assuming they are the same engine/transmission configuration (ie: 4cyl automatic or 6cpy standard or 4cyl standard or 6 cyl automatic) they are the same and should be interchangeable
Replace your AT Control Unit (Automatic Transmission Computer)
i was told by the dealer on a 1993 civic there is no filter just change the fluid.
1993-1996 automatic transmission: MERCON automatic transmission fluid (NOT MERCON V) 1993-2005 manual transmission: MERCON automatic transmission fluid (NOT MERCON V)
You can use any kind of SAE certified automatic transmission fluid in your 1993 Nissan Pathfinder. You can check the automatic transmission fluid level with the transmission dipstick.
I believe that is an E4OD automatic transmission
Replace the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) in your transmission. It is the same part number for an automatic transmission and a manual transmission in those year models.
4L60E automatic with overdrive.
Same place you check it.
