how do i replace the hub assembly on a 1997 cavalier 2.3 Ls
Instructions on how to change the rear hub wheel bearings on a 1996 Chevy cavalier
I have 1997 Nissan Maxima. You ned to replace the entire hub assembly. My problem is that they discontinued the 1997 hub assembly and the suggested replacement part's ABS ring is 4MM taller therefore the ABS sensor cannot clear the ABS ring. Any ideas on this one?

Front- $50 Rear- $80 If you do it yourself. It is an easy job. 2 on a scale of 1-10. Front-- remove the wheel, remove the brake hardware, remove the hub bearing. Rear-- remove the wheel, remove the brake drum, remove the hub bearing. You don't need to remove the rear brake hardware. Very simple job...
part of the hub assembly
You can replace both... Bearing or Hub... Bearings are cheaper, but harder to find and replace. Hub assemblies are easier to replace, but slightly more expensive.
how do you replace q front wheel hub on a 2006 ford 250 5.4 v 8 4 wheel drive
Both the front and rear bearings on a 1998 Cavalier are contained in the hub assembly. The rear hub is attached with four bolts, and the front with three.
The front wheel bearing is a sealed unit with the wheel hub - replace the hub and wheel bearing unit. Remove the four bolts from the rear of the steering knuckle that connect to the hub bearing unit.
the same way you would replace any hub assembly, take the wheel off, take off any bolts that connect the hub to the driveshaft and then replace it
No, replace the entire hub.
