what would the problem be with my Vauxhall astra if I was driving it and the car cut out but would start back up in 5 mins time
Hi! 2004 astra 1.4 16 valve enjoy model is an egr valve fitted to this model? (enjoy) thanks
I have a Astra F '97 1.4 litre DOHC 16 valve engine Average 6.5 to 8.5L/100km or 33 to 43 MPG (imperial)
19 and a 20 inch on the front. 16 inch for the rear.
Astra f 1800cc 16v renew bolts 25nm 90 degrees 90 degrees 90 degrees
The alternator retaining bolt size is 9/16. The alternator bolts will be three inches long. The alternator tensioner bolt is 9/16 by one inch.
take the belt off remember how its routed, locate alternator, locate bolt on top its a 9/16, then locate the other bolt at the exact opposite end its a 9/16 also pull the plugs when you put it in make sure battery is FULLY CHARGED
It actually isn't that hard. Remove the front right wheel and fender liner. Use a 9/16" wrench to loosen the serpentine belt by turning the wrench clockwise. Slip the belt off the alternator. Then remove the wires and the bolts that hold the alternator to the engine. Installation is the reverse of removal.
The alternator must be running to test without disassembly. If you remove it, many auto part stores will test at no charge. One test is a voltage test. Start the engine and use a multimeter to check the voltage at the battery. It should read between 13.5 and 16 volts. Any less or more and the alternator is bad.
The size of the wear wiper blade on a Vauxhall Corsa Comfort depends on the year. On a 2001, the size is 16 inches.
you dont.its a closed unit.you need to go and get it done by vauxhall
Replace the alternator. It sounds like a defective regulator, and it is located inside of the alternator. The volts should never go any higher than 16.
