This is not an easy or cheap job... It requires removal of the cylinder head, this basically means taking off the top half of the engine!

you will need to drain oil and coolant, undo all sensors to cylinder head, disconnect exhaust from head, remove timing belt etc.

once you get the head off you need a valve spring compressor to squash each spring and remove the collect's that hold each valve in place.

You need to lap in each new valve before carefully rebuilding the head with new valve seals.

Then you need to put the whole engine back together again with new gaskets and sealants and new head bolts.

I would also advise a new coolant thermostat, timing belt and timing belt tensioner. Possibly also a new water pump. As if these go faulty it could mean you bend your new valves.

new oil & oil filter, and new coolant.

Not a job for a novice or for the faint hearted!

What happens if a 1995 Honda Civic ex timing belts breaks?

Usually if the timing belt breaks you have to replace the head or the bent valves. Sometimes the damage can be much worse and the entire engine can be wiped out. When the timing belt breaks, your cams and valves stop moving but the pistons don't. The pistons will smash against the stopped valves and bent them and on some occasions can break pistons as well.
