Remove the carpeting from behind the light assembly by prying loose the plastic fasteners. Then remove all twelve nuts that are exposed (two are recessed out of sight). The entire red glass assembly then comes loose in one piece, and the bulbs just ftwist out.
Some are accessable from the trunk. If not, take the light assy off.
