Remove electrical connections from old master cylinder remove and plug brake lines remove mounting bolts and pull off from brake booster BENCH BLEED new master cylinder prior to installing Install in reverse order of removal If bench bled properly should not have to bleed brake lines
Defective Master Cylinder or broken brake line. Replace the master cylinder and bleed the brakes.

look on top of the brake pedal or on the master cylinder.
Look on the firewall driver's side
Master cylinder low on brake fluid or parking brake not totally released
If the master cylinder reservoir is empty, you have a leak somewhere. If the master cylinder reservoir is full, the master cylinder is bad.
In the master cylinder, driver side under the hood.In the master cylinder, driver side under the hood.
Brake fluid is added to the brake master cylinder reservoir, under the hood on the driver side.
Master cylinder is bad and appears to be coming from the booster.
Master cylinder. Located on the firewall, driver's side, in front of the brake booster.
Start at the master cylinder. Make sure it's full, pull one of the brake lines, have someone press on the pedal and hold your finger over the hole to see if you get pressure. If you don't replace the master cylinder. If you do, reconnect that brake line and try the other. If you have pressure in both lines of the master cylinder, continue on down to the individual wheel cylinders.
