It should be a fairly simple process of replacing the CE285a cartridge. Simply open the door which is on the top of the printer, this give you access to the cartridge. The cartridge should have a small handle on the front of it which you can pull and release the cartridge from the printer.
Its then a case of installing the new cartridge which should slide in the same way you took the old one out, this type of printer usually has a cut out on either side which guides the cartridge in, then close the lid. It should close smoothly without any force required, if you find its not closing properly then check that the cartridge is sitting in right.
