You have to pull the entire dash assembly completely out of the truck., including all of the components,attached to it. When you get it out you only have the heater assembly and fire wall left in the truck. You then install the new dash assembly and the ac components tto the structure and reinsatll the dash assembly. . This is a very difficult job for a novice. I did it and when I got done i swore I would never do it again.
