exhaust?
Was an intake manifold gasket for me.
To replace the lower intake manifold gasket on a 2000 Ford Ranger V6 3.0, first disconnect the battery and remove any components obstructing access to the intake manifold, such as the air intake and throttle body. Then, unbolt the intake manifold, carefully lift it off, and remove the old gasket. Clean the mating surfaces, place the new gasket, and reassemble by reversing the disassembly steps, ensuring all bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, reconnect any components and the battery, and check for leaks after starting the engine.
There are 2 heated exhaust gas oxygen sensors , 1 screwed into the outlet on each exhaust manifold on a 1993 Ford Ranger 4.0 L .
The only permanent repair is to replace the gasket with a new one.
the upstream O2 sensor is directly below thethe exhaust manifold flanges, above the catalytic converter. The downstream O2 sensor is in the exhaust pipe. Disconnect the electrical connectors and screw it out
