On many autos today it is simple. Raise the hood, you should be able to see the rear of the headlight. It may have a bulb holder which pulls or pops out, wires will lead to this unit. If so remove the bulb holding unit the one can simply unplug the old bulb and replace with a new one and plug the holder back like it was. But before I let a mechanic charge me an arm and a leg, Auto zone has manuels for around eighteen bucks that tell and show you how to do all sorts of things.
