There is no cam sensor on a 90 3.1. Only a crank sensor.
You locate cam-sensor check for loose or broken wires ,if this doesn't work replace cam-sensor.
It is inside the distributor. You have to replace the distributor to service the cam sensor.

To change a 305 cam sensor, locate it beside the camshaft. Disconnect the electrical plug of the sensor and remove the hold-down bolt to take off the cam sensor. Replace with new.Ê

Test/replace the cam sensor.
remove the distributor cap and pull the thin disc like cam sensor over the shaft of the distributor then replace it with the new one.
A cam sensor and crank sensor was not used on that year. If the engine is not firing then I would replace the ignition module that's in the distributor.
The cam sensor is part of the distributor. You have to replace the entire distributor.
