You will have to replace the fuel module which consists of the pump, sending unit and sock filter. Which means you will have to remove the fuel tank.
Check for power and ground to the sending unit . If you have that then ground the sending unit and see if it works.If the gauge works then the sending unit is defective.
Check for power and ground to the sending unit. If they are good then you have a bad sending unit.
Replace the fuel leveling sensor that is on the fuel sending unit that's inside of the fuel tank.
The gauge, wiring or sending unit is bad.
The fuel pump comes as a module. It consists of the fuel pump, the sending unit for the gauge and a strainer. You will have to lower the gas tank to be able to access it.
The fuel module consists of the fuel pump, strainer and the sending unit. The fuel pump pumps the fuel, the strainer filters the fuel,and the sending unit sends a signal to the dash gauge as to how much fuel is in the tank.
Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and that will tell you.
the sending unit is attached to the fuel pump in the tank.
It is inside of the fuel tank.
sending unit in tank could be bad!!

Ground the temperature sending unit and the gauge should go to hot. If it does not the the gauge is defective. The instrument cluster will have to be sent off for repair. had the same problem, check for bad fuse located in fuse box under the hood on drivers side.
