how do i replace the hub assembly on a 1997 cavalier 2.3 Ls
I assume that it will be like a 1998 Sienna van. There is a sealed bearing in the hub assembly and you change the whole assembly. There are four bolts that hold the hub assembly to the suspension.

you must repalce the whole hub since it comes as a assembly.
The wheel bearings are not really replaceable by themselves. This is because they are integrated into the hub assembly. So the answer is that you will have to replace the entire hub assembly to replace the bearings.
The front bearing for a Dodge Stratus is attached to the Hub. To replace it remove all the components on the hub assembly. There are three bolts that hold the assembly in place. Loosen the bolts and pry out the hub. Replace the unit.
the same way you would replace any hub assembly, take the wheel off, take off any bolts that connect the hub to the driveshaft and then replace it
The front wheel hub on a 1999 Chevy Lumina is connected to several suspension components. Loosen and remove all the components including the lower and upper ball joints. Pull off the hub assembly and install the replacement.
If you're trying to replace the rear wheel bearing and all you can find is the rear hub assembly, it probably means that you can't get just the bearing. Many vehicle manufacturers press the bearing into the assembly at the factory and there is no way to replace just the bearing. If they're offering the assembly, that's probably what you'll need to buy.
Front is easy, just replace hub rear is pressed in
It's easy, you have to replace the entire hub! When the bearings go bad, you have to replace the whole hub! Simple! It's easy, you have to replace the entire hub! When the bearings go bad, you have to replace the whole hub! Simple!
This is extremely easy. Unscrew axle nut, which is held on with 140 lbs of torque, then unbolt 4 bolts holding assembly inplace, slide assembly off axle splines, install in reverse order.
