Engine Control Module.............
Time for a tune up.
To change the thermostat on a 1994 Mitsubishi Diamante, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Drain the coolant from the radiator, then remove the upper radiator hose and the thermostat housing to access the thermostat. Replace the old thermostat with a new one, ensuring the rubber gasket is in place, then reassemble the housing and hoses. Finally, refill the coolant, reconnect the battery, and check for leaks.

The ball joint is an integral part of the lower control arms. Ergo you must replace the entire lower control arm. Dealer cost is about $450 ea there's no aftermarket availability that I have found. My car's not worth the price of the parts ro replace the arms. RATS.

The 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante ES typically uses an alternator compatible with several other Mitsubishi models from that era. This includes the 1994-1996 Mitsubishi Galant and certain models of the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Montero from the same timeframe. It's important to verify part numbers or consult a parts catalog to ensure compatibility, as variations can exist based on engine type or specific vehicle configurations.
The only engines that will fit in this car without significant modification to the car are the stock engine (6g72) or the Mitsubishi 3.5L 6g74.

To change the belts on a 1994 Mitsubishi Diamante, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove any necessary components for access, such as the engine cover or air intake. Loosen the tensioner pulley by turning the adjustment bolt, then remove the old belt and replace it with the new one, ensuring it follows the correct routing. Finally, adjust the tensioner back to its original position, double-check the belt alignment, and reconnect the battery.
