Remove brake light interior trim panels. Then you push and twist the socket for the brake light that needs replacing. Then pull out socket. then pull out bulb from socket and place new bulb in the light socket. Once bulb is installed into light socket. Place the socket where you removed it from brake light housing. 1999 Ford Explore All the light bulbs are working but my left brake light isn't Would it be the brake light switch if the right brake light is still working?

No. I am assuming that you first replaced the bulb? If you did replace the bulb, then I would check to see if you are getting power to the bulb socket. If no power is getting to the socket, you then need to find the break in the electric lines going to the socket.

How do you replace the rear brake light turn signal socket on a 1997 Sunfire SE?

Open the trunk, remove part of the carpet that is just behind the turn signal. You will find the socket, it's black, move it to the left or to the right about half a turn until it unlocks, you will find the bulb. The bulb has two filaments, one for the turn signal and the other for the stop light. If either one is bad, you need to replace the bulb. Many times the bulb connectors, get rusted or accumulate dust and does not make a good connection, therfore your turning signal or your stop light won't work, just clean the connectors, both from the bulb and form the socket and put it back and see if it works.
