Remove brake light interior trim panels. Then you push and twist the socket for the brake light that needs replacing. Then pull out socket. then pull out bulb from socket and place new bulb in the light socket. Once bulb is installed into light socket. Place the socket where you removed it from brake light housing. Push and twist clockwise to lock back in place. Then replace trim panels.
If only the right rear brake/signal light is effected it is not the fuse. Inspect the right rear brake/signal bulb, socket and wiring.
Cut the wires then splice on new socket
Just unscrew the rear brake light, turn out the socket, and replace the bulb.
expose back of bulb, turn to the left, replace bulb, return to socket, turn to the right
The bulb that is not illuminating, is installed incorrectly. Take it out, and replace it with a new one, making sure the nubs on the socket are in the right slots.
Bad bulb socket? Broken Wire to socket?
Replace bulb Check socket for power & ground Check socket for corrosion
it is in the trunk you just turn and pull the light out of the socket and the light bulb is a 194 i do believe
No. I am assuming that you first replaced the bulb? If you did replace the bulb, then I would check to see if you are getting power to the bulb socket. If no power is getting to the socket, you then need to find the break in the electric lines going to the socket.
Could be a loose ground for the left rear light socket.
Open the trunk, remove part of the carpet that is just behind the turn signal. You will find the socket, it's black, move it to the left or to the right about half a turn until it unlocks, you will find the bulb. The bulb has two filaments, one for the turn signal and the other for the stop light. If either one is bad, you need to replace the bulb. Many times the bulb connectors, get rusted or accumulate dust and does not make a good connection, therfore your turning signal or your stop light won't work, just clean the connectors, both from the bulb and form the socket and put it back and see if it works.
