Glass repair Samsung galaxy avant.
ya..
No, it hasn't gorilla glass.
yes
It sounds like the actual screen (NOT the viewing glass) has been damaged. If you can remove the front panel - and are able to see through the glass screen, then the display module needs replacing.
I am not up to speed on this product. But from what I have read it is very durable. The screen is made out of gorilla glass which when drop it still holds up. It is a pretty good product very durable. The screen would proably outlast any other product out there.
If it is just the screen that is damaged, your local glass shop can replace it.
The amoled is a better screen because it (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) is a display technology. While Gorilla glass is a damage and scratch resistance sheet of glass used in many modern phones as a cover overtop of the screen technology but as of yet isn't a display technology on its own. These days most phones use both of these in combination. Samsung Galaxy S2 uses a "Super AMOLED Plus" display and a Gorilla Glass plate overtop. So you can't really compare the two.
any windshield and glass replacement shop will do that for you
Samsung Corning Precision Glass was created on 1995-05-15.
If individual pixels are blacked out, most likely you will have to replace the digitizer. To understand, there are "two" screens. The "glass" and the "digitizer" where the digitizer is the panel that produces the pixels. You will most likely have to get your digitizer and screen replaced
