Dear sir,

I have the same problem...

Thanks...

I'm assuming that the question relates to the combined stop/tail bulb mounted in the vertical light clusters on each side of the tailgate. The instructions are for a 2004-on vehicle but I believe the pre-2004 model is the same.

To replace the bulb, first open the tailgate then remove the two bolts (10mm) fixing the light cluster to the body. The cluster can then be pulled off the car in a rearwards direction (i.e. straight away from the rear of the car). The cluster is held in place by 3 locating pins. These are spring mounted so may need some encouragement, since it is not easy to get a good grip on the cluster. The easiest way is to wrap a large flat-bladed screwdriver or other similar implement in cloth or tape to avoid damage to the bodywork then insert the blade of the screwdriver between the cluster and the side of the car about 2/3 of the way up the cluster. Twist the screwdriver gently and the clips should release and the rear of the cluster be accessible.

To remove the stop/tail bulb, twist the bulb holder to the left and pull it out. The bulb can then be pulled out. The bulb is a dual filament 12v 21/5W type T20. Installation is the reverse of the above.

Good luck
