1. Open trunk
2. Open flaps in trunk liner (both sides)
3. Identify location of burned out bulb
4. Reach through flap and turn socket to left and remove from housing
5. Replace bulb (bulbs are all listed in owner's manual)
6. Put socket back in housing, turn to right to secure, close flap.
Move to other side of car and replace the same bulb on that side. It's been burning the same length of time as the burned out bulb so will probably die soon. Replace it while you're there.
Cheers
I've been told by the Toyota dealer that the rear bumper must be removed to replace a reverse bulb on the 2007 Solara Sport. Is there any other way?

On a 4 cylinder, 2007 Toyota Solara. it is on the right side of the engine, just to the left of the frame. It is underneath the air conditioner pump.
See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers
Removing the battery would pretty much do the trick without damage to the car.
To replace the xenon headlight bulb on a 2007 Toyota Solara, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed. Open the hood and locate the headlight assembly; you may need to remove the cover or access panel. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old bulb, then unclip and remove the bulb. Insert the new xenon bulb, ensuring it's secured, reconnect the wiring harness, and test the headlights before closing everything up.

To replace the third brake light on a 2007 Toyota Avalon, first, open the trunk and locate the plastic cover that conceals the brake light assembly. Remove the cover by unscrewing or unclipping it, then disconnect the electrical connector from the old light assembly. Next, remove the old brake light by unscrewing or pulling it out, and install the new light by reversing the process. Finally, reconnect the electrical connector and replace the plastic cover.
