First of all disconnect the black terminal to the battery. then disconnect the voltge regulator connector from the back of the alternator. then remove the alternator mounting bolts. should be two on the side very visible. then i would take it to oreilys or something they check it to see if the alternator is good or not. if is get one from where ever u plan to and reverse what i said bolts, connector, then batterey.
