open up the rear axle differntial drain oil locate the bearings and take large needlenose pliers and gently pull the bearings out without damaging the differncial housing (expensive!!!!!!!!!!)

Under the quad, at least on the 2003 and 2005 suzuki ozark 250 quad runners, it is under the quad, there is a 17mm bolt that is the only bolt accessible under the quad, take that out and it drains it.

Yes it does remove the 3 bolts holding the filter cover and you will find it there.
There is no separate transmission oil on the Ozark. The engine and the transmission and the clutches are all lubricated by the oil you put in the engine. That's why it is smart to use the upgraded motorcycle oil they sell at the dealer. Its supposed to work better in transmission than regular oil. There is some 90W oil in the rear differential that is located back on the rear axle that needs checked and changed - but not very often. Look at your manual.
