Not sure what you are referring to, maybe the fuse box cover. The fuse box cover usually just snaps into place. If not the fuse box cover, give us more info.
Please tell me how to replace the accessory power outlet cover on my 2010 Silverado Pick up.

2.2L OHV Engines * Drain coolant (about 1 gallon) from the radiator until its below the thermostat housing * Disconnect the radiator hose from the thermostat cover * Remove the bolts and lift the cover off you mat have to tap the cover with a soft-face hammer to loosen it * Not how its installed then remove the thermostat 2.3L and 2.4L OHC Engines * Drain the coolant from the radiator * Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield * Remove the cover that protects the outlet pipe on the thermostat housing by accessing cover bolts through the exhaust manifold runners * Raise and secure the car on jackstands * Disconnect the radiator hose from the metal outlet pipe * Remove the outlet pipe bolt and carefully separate the outlet pipe from the thermostat housing and the engine block * Note how its installed then remove the thermostat from the outlet pipe

ok you look on the front of the block....take the thermostat cover off..then take the old one out and put the new one in and put the cover back on.....
Wires are not to be spliced or otherwise connected except in an approved electrical box. The box should be accessible, such as an electric outlet or switch box. If you decide to NOT use the box as an outlet or switch box, make certain that you use a blank cover.
Chevrolet cover cars.
On 1994 and later 2.3 and 2.4 engines is located above the radiator outlet piipe in the water pump cover. On all other engines it is located in the coolent outlet housing on the cylider head. drain the coolent system rEMOVE THE RADIATOR OUTLET PIPE BOLTS FROM THE WATER PUMP COVER. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the stud securing the radiatior outlet pipe Pull down on the radiator outlet pipe to disengage it from the water pump cover. Install the thermostat with a new rubbor seal into the radiato outlet pipe. install the radiator outlet pipe and tighten the bolts to the torque listed. Refill the cooling system. Start the engine and allow it to reach nornal operating temperature.
