You take it to a shop. Personal posession of freon in the US is illegal.
No... The engine cooling system has nothing to do with the vehicle's air conditioner.
Freon was not installed in any vehicle built after 1995.Freon was not installed in any vehicle built after 1995.
Never
a ford fusion does not have freon it has 134r take it to a mechanic
How do you add freon to a 1999 Honda Passport
The freon needs to be removed from the system and the pressure released. The condenser can then be removed and replaced, along with new o rings. Then the system needs a vacuum pulled and the new freon can be put in.
Freon (R12) has not been installed in any vehicle since 1995.
There is no freon in a home sprinkler system.
You will definitely lose all of your Freon when you replace the high pressure switch. Once the high pressure switch is loosen the Freon will begin to access the system.
Remove the freon from the ac system and release the pressure on the 2001 Dodge. Loosen the fittings on the dryer and remove it. Install a new drier, and new o rings. Pull a vacuum on the system then fill with new freon.
Its too old and you'd most likely have to take it to a mechanic to have them drain the old freon, which is illegal to drain yourself due to bad fumes for the atmosphere and they'll replace it with I believe RA12 or something of the sort. If the pump/hose is bad they'll have to replace that too to ensure no problems with the new freon. I'm actually about to do it on my '87 Calais here very soon.
Remove the freon from the system. Disconnect the compressor belt, then remove the lines. Unbolt the compressor and remove it. Install the new compressor, connect the lines and belt. Pull a system vacuum, then fill with new freon.
