I purchased a used 1999 Chevy Malibu and had to replace the glove box because the latch was broken. I purchased another a the local salvage yard and I want to know how to take the lock out of the old door and install it in the new one.
The blower motor is under the glove compartment
it is located below the glove box on the passengers side.

Under the hood of your Chevy Malibu there should be an engine information tag which should suggest the proper spark plug gap. If you cannot find the tag refer to your car manual that is normally located in your glove box.
the relays are behind the glove box. you have to take the glove box out to have access to the relay for the heating system

the heater fan is up under glove box, take glove box out to make removing it a lot easier. then you can see the fan and the fan resister, take off wiring connecter and the screws for the fan, then that's it.
Take the glove box out. Look in behind. Have fun -- it's not a nice job.
