If you are talking about a second generation MR2, then it's pretty easy. You don't replace just the bulb, you will replace the entire housing. They both cost the same at the store. You need to take off the black plastic shroud around the headlight. Then remove the 4 screws that are in the chrome ring holding the light in. Then just pull the light out and unplug it. Just do the reverse to put it back in.
^^^^Why would you replace the whole housing???? Dont know what stores you are shopping at that keep a stock of headlight housings, and then sell them at the same price as a set of bulbs? Bulb is an H4 and you gain access as stated above.
