You have an open question as to what you are asking. Are you referring to the key and tumbler assembly or the actual ignition switch meaning the electrical part? If you mean the key and tumbler then you need to have a locksmith do it or a repair shop as the key is coded for your car. If you are referring to the switch then in that case you will need special tools to remove it.

You will find the ICM directly below the coils. Just remove the coils and you will be able to remove it. This is on a 1990 Buick Century V6 3300 engine. If you have a different engine I cannot confirm the location.
