Go to and click on repairs on the left hand side and enter your vehicle info and type.

They offer free online repair manuals for your vehicle which include diagrams and step by step instructions

The question you ask is too involved for a proper answer. You may want to go to a car parts store, or book store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.

Remove the tire and wheel from your 2002 Chevy Malibu. Remove the brake spring and the brake caliper. The brake shoes will come off. Reverse the process to install the new brake shoes.

Pads or shoes worn beyond usable. Replace pads and rotors or shoes and drums as needed.
