I am not for sure but I will let you know in about 3 weeks.
Very difficult. I would leave it to a glass shop.
Do you mean the rear vent window? The sliding door, body side and quarter glass vent windows are done using same procedure.1.Remove upper trim moulding from around the glass. 2.Remove the screws holding llatch to glass.3. Separate glass from latch. 4. Remove nut covers and nuts holding glass hinge to window opening flange. 5. Separate glass from vehicle.
you can remove the old glass and simply silicon glue the glass replacement in. Cost of mirror is 10 to 12 dollars. Takes 15 minutes
The windshield changes in 2000 (windshield fits 1996-2000) Same with back window, looks like all the glass is different from the 2000. 2001 is the newer shape
how to change 2000 ford focus quarter glass
cmon
go to the nearest glass shop
remove the broken glass and take it to a glass place you wont be able to replace yourself because glass has to be sealed by a special type of glue
The quarter glass on a ford explorer is bolted in. Remove the inner panel to access the bolts. Remove the bolts, then some light force may be needed to break the glass sealant free.
You will have to remove the screws, with an impact. They do remove, but be careful not to break the glass. The only thing keeping the nut from turning is the glass. The screws have threadlocker on them.
Take it to a glass shop. This kind of work requires specialized tools and knowledge, and is best left to the experts.
Not a DIY job. Take it to a professional auto glass shop. Check with your insurance company, and see if this is covered under your policy. Lots of times it is with no deductible.
