Tilt the seat rearward and remove the front connections to the module. tilt the seat forward and renove the rear connections to the module...Now pull the seat out and turn it upside down, There are two 7 mm screws in a metal bracket that hold the module on in the front . at the reart of the module it just snaps off the seat bar.
How do you remove the seat to replace the battery on the mercedes r350 2006
It is located under the rear seat on the right side of the vehicle. Remember to disconnect the battery before removing connector. Hope this helps.
battery is located under the rear seat
You have to remove the drivers seat and pull up the carpet.
Well could be a couple things, but the thing I have actually seen the most is: if someone is sitting in the rear seat it is easy to kick the connector on the seat control module under the drivers or passengers seat. this will cause the connector to become loose or disconnected from the seat control module. easy to check, just look under the rear of the drivers seat and make sure all the connectors are securely plugged in, if the connector has been kicked the housing is usually broken, but you can hold it in if you connect some zip ties and tie them around the control module to hold the connector. Other option might be the seat switch, or the fuse for the seat control module
The module is often under the passenger seat. Pull the seat up and it is in thecenter under the carpet. You can unplug and replace it.It is probably cheaper to have it reset.A word of caution:*Disconnect the battery if you are working with the Airbag Module, If it is powered and it feels movement, it could trigger the Airbags to blow."
How to fold rear seat to mercedes c230 kompressor
usually the screws can be found when you carefully pry off the seat control panel on the door (there should be 2 or 3) and near the arm rest, it depends on the year. Some even have screws under the door latch handle cover.
