Jack up the right front, remove the tire, remove flexable rubber shield. Remove belts (alternator, etc) Remove the pulley nut. Take off timing chain cover. remove pulleys, remove harmoni balancer with wheel puller. Losen tensoner with hex wrench. Lossen top lock and loosen bootem enough to move. Open up and tighten in place. Make sure piston is tdc. Remove number one spark plug. Line up makes. Crank mark at 4 oclock. Cam pulley straight up. remove belt replace new with arror ou. top line on cam pulley mark. bottom line on the 4 oclock mark. and replace everything making sure the rotor is facing the number plug tower.
timing is 15 degrees before on both std and auto.
Drain the water from your 1987 Nissan Stanza. Remove the water return hose from the water pump. Remove the water pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new water pump.
at top dead center, camshaft mark at 12 o'clock and crank at 5 o'clock. belt should also have marks if it a Nissan belt.
The temperature sensor on a 1987 Nissan Stanza is located on the rear of the radiator. It is about one-third of the way down from the top.
You can get a 1987 Nissan Stanza Wagon body kit at auto part stores. You can also check with a certified dealer.
Very easy it is simply bolted unto the wall and unplug.
