I assume it's in the same place as on my 96--up under the dash near the middle of the car. You don't have to take anything loose to get at it just crawl under.
No they are not. The hazard flasher should be located in the fuse panal. While the turn signal flasher is located behind the dash near the AC controls. Can be a pain to find and replace.
Is the signal flasher underneath the steering wheel or somewhere else

How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 2001 Buick Century?"
located under dash on steering column , one with blue strip is hazard, one with yellow is turn signal
Bad flasher unit or turn signal switch
Sounds like a weak turn signal flasher
if it is the same as gm cars up to 95 it will be a small silvery bulb cliped on to the bracket for the brake pedal. just unplug it and clip the new one on
Flasher is bad. to replace it it is under the dash at the back of the steering column.
The control is part ofthe turn signal switch and is very hard to replacce since there is the air bag to contend with. I suggest taking it to a garage.
To replace the turn signal flasher in a Buick Skylark, locate the flasher unit, which is usually found under the dashboard, near the steering column, or in the fuse box area. You may need to remove a panel or cover to access it. Once located, disconnect the old flasher by pulling it out and insert the new flasher into the same socket. Ensure it's seated properly, then test the turn signals to confirm it's functioning.
