There will be a tensioner that has a square ratchet hole by the timing belt cover. Use a breaker bar to pull it towards the front of the car, it should release the tension to remove the belt. You may need a helper to do that. You may want to consider replacing the tensioner as well. They aren't too pricey and sometimes it's recommended.
