At the base of most GM wiper arms is a little piece of metal with an angled tab. Raise the wiper arm so it is at about 90 degrees to the windshield and the wiper arm should stay there. Grab the metal tab and pull it straight out. It should move about a half inch or so then the wiper arm should lift straight off the post. I'll watch this topic in case you have any further questions.
