Programming Altima Remote 1. Close and lock all doors with the driver's side power lock/unlock switch. 2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. (Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder each time). If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter programming mode. 3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position. 4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the keyless remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. (Do not press the button more than one time in the above step). If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming procedure will not be successful. 5. If there are any remaining remotes (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver's side power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Repeat this step for each keyless remote (including any existing keyless remotes). 6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver's side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door.
Nissan Dealer only at this point.
Find and remove the fuse.
You cannot reprogram it. A dealer can get you the Master Code if you've lost it.
I bought a 1997 dodge ram 1500 larmie and the seller lost the keyless enrty. who do i get a new keyless entry? will i have to reprogram/replace anything on the truck
it must be done at a local Audi dealership
I lost my remote but had a spare from anoter gm remote I paid for
use your key and reprogram your remote from the dealership
You need to have the dealer do this one as it takes a special computer.
If the dome light and the keyless entry system does not work on a Nissan Sentra it is possible there is blown fuse. The fuse box is found in the passenger compartment.
take it to your near autozone, they started making some aftermarket products,if they don't have one for your vehicle take it to a Chrysler dealership and they will match one up but if they have to reprogram it, it will cost extra along with the keyless entry, sometimes they don't have to reprogram them.
I bought a 1998 ford explorer and the owners manual showed how to reprogram the keyless entry system if you have the manual read it if not you can look on line for that info i had to locate the computer module to find the factory 5 # code on it before i could reprogram mine.May be different on 2008 just trying to help.
For now that is a dealer - only issue
