You must have BMW specific software in order to clear any ABS codes. If you have an ABS light on, you need to have the car diagnosed using BMW software such as INPA,Carsoft,a GT1 or other type. Once you have an ABS light showing, it will remain on as long as the faul is present. If the fault condition no longer exists, it will clear itself but store the fault in memory. Sadly, you need repairs.

No, you must use an SRS reset tool or go to the BMW dealer and have them reset the airbag sensor light. There's no way of doing it without the tool. I've tried jumpering wires to reset but never worked.
