how do you reset a fuel pump switch on a 1993 ford tempo
the reset switch should be in the trunk on the right side
its in the trunk turn switch off and back on
This information can be found in your owner's manual. If you don't have one, you can order one from a dealer. You may also find one at a salvage yard. Look in the trunk. The fuel reset switch is located in the outer trunk wall on the drivers side, you may need to pull the trunk liner down a little but there is a small access hole, and you can see the mounting nuts on the inside of the trunk wall and you can see the wire if you shine a flash light into the access hole. btw, the switch on the drivers side in the back is a cut-off switch, not a reset switch. If you really want to be technical about it, according to Ford the correct name is fuel system inertial switch.
